Born in 1979, I have been an avid computer user for as long as I can remember. My dad introduced me to my first computer (a Schneider CPC 128, the German version of the ZX Spectrum, and yes, the entire computer was integrated into the keyboard) when I could barely read and write, and before I spoke a word of English, I had copied my first game from the BASIC listing in the manual.
I have spent most of my youth playing various games from Civilization to Quake, with everything in between other than sports games (which I despise) and console games (which I could never afford). Most of my adult life was filled with more programming than gaming, and while I still play games every now and then, it’s rare that anything can hold my attention for more than a day. I blame the new games.
I am usually grumpy, cynical and mean, and I enjoy to mock and belittle people; however contrary to popular belief, I do not actually get angry over IRC or forums. I think most people live in a self imposed mental stupor, and I have little patience for political correctness or people asking for it. I also think that if I as a German can learn the difference between “your” and “you’re”, then so can you, and if you don’t, I will consider you a stupid hick and make sure you are aware of that. If you find any mistakes on my page or in my posts, I would actually really appreciate it if you would let me know.
